The GMN roller bearings are primarily used as accessories for our insert elements series FE 400 and FE 400 Z.
The insert elements are not self centering and require additional bearing support. The roller bearings series RL 400 are fitting perfectly besides these insert elements and they also provide the necessary gap height of 4 mm.
In cooperation with an additional ball bearing, the roller bearing can be used as a floating bearing. The assembly guarantees a defined gap height and protects the insert elements against any kind of inclination from shaft and housing.
A roller bearing consists of a certain number of rolls (depending on the size) and a cage (mostly made of brass).
The rolls for the roller bearing RL 400 are available in 11 different tolerance classes with 2 µm grading of + 10 to - 10 µm.
