Design

GMN backstops with momentum lever are made of a complete unit type FND 400 and a momentum lever.

Function

For proper function it is important to avoid any fixation of the momentum lever because this would cause a misalignment of the inner- and outer ring of the clutch.

Torque

Backstops are able to transmit nominal torque mounted on solid shafts. Mounting on hollow shafts decreases the transmittable torque. In this case please contact our technical staff to receive a calculation on the transmittable torque in your application.
